Teen Therapy

We all deserve to be heard and understood.

Supporting your anxious preteen or teen can feel overwhelming. I work with parents and families to build strategies that reduce conflict, improve communication, and strengthen relationships at home and school. Together, we help your child develop emotional and social skills to thrive in all areas of life.

Teen Talk Therapy is specifically for pre-teens and teens ages 10-19, covering anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and more, with options for parent involvement.

Once we manage to break through the teen code of silence and begin addressing the core issues that keep a young person feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or in pain, real transformation can start to happen. Many teens struggle to put their thoughts and emotions into words, especially with the people they love most. A therapist provides a safe, neutral space where teens can begin to unpack what they’re feeling without fear of judgment, disappointment, or conflict. With the right support, teens can learn healthier ways to understand their emotions, build confidence, improve communication, and develop coping skills that will serve them long into adulthood.

When teens feel heard, understood, and supported, they often begin to open up in ways that surprise both themselves and their parents.

Therapy isn’t about “fixing” a teen—it’s about helping them understand themselves, strengthen their resilience, feel empowered, build confidence!
